Line Shafts

Definition -A Line Shaft is a long rotating shaft used to transmit mechanical power over a distance to multiple machines or components. Its purpose is to distribute power from a single prime mover, such as an electric motor or engine, to several driven machines using pulleys, belts, or gears. Line shafts are commonly used in traditional factories, workshops, textile mills, and industrial setups where centralized power transmission is required.
